She holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from University West, Sweden, where she specialized in advanced manufacturing techniques.
Combining her technical expertise with her entrepreneurial spirit, Paria co-founded OptiFab with the aim of revolutionizing the aerospace industry through advanced 3D printing technology. Her leadership and strategic guidance have been pivotal in establishing OptiFab as a leader in the field, providing flawless and cost-effective solutions for rocket parts.

Katayoon Taherkhani
Co-Founder & CSO
Katayoon Taherkhani is the Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) and co-founder of OptiFab Technologies. With a background in Electrical Engineering and expertise in in-situ monitoring systems in 3D printing equipment, Katy brings a unique blend of technical expertise and business acumen to her role.
Katy holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, where her research focused on the development and implementation of in-situ monitoring systems for 3D printing processes. She has also completed postdoctoral research at the Multi-Scale Additive Manufacturing Lab (MSAM), where she worked on in-situ monitoring and the closed-control system.
As CSO of OptiFab Technologies, Katy is committed to driving innovation and growth while maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. She is passionate about using cutting-edge technology to solve complex problems and is dedicated to building a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Osazee Ero
Lead Software Engineer
Osazee Ero is an accomplished lead software engineer with expertise in systems engineering and artificial intelligence. He holds a Master of Science in Systems Engineering with a specialization in Simulation and Modelling from the University of Lagos. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from the University of Benin, Nigeria.
Throughout his career, Osazee has demonstrated his passion for cutting-edge technologies and their practical applications. He has actively worked on projects related to the application of artificial intelligence in melt pool monitoring for the Laser Powder Bed Fusion-Additive Manufacturing process. His deep understanding of software development and AI has been instrumental in developing innovative solutions for optimizing 3D printing processes.
With his strong technical background and commitment to pushing the boundaries of technology, Osazee brings invaluable expertise to the OptiFab team. He plays a pivotal role in developing and enhancing our software solutions, ensuring the highest levels of quality and precision in 3D printing.
Esmaeil Sadeghi
Co-Fonder & CTO
Esmaeil Sadeghi, Ph.D., is a co-founder and serves as the CTO at OptiFab Technologies. With a distinguished career spanning over 15 years in the Metal AM industry, Esmaeil brings profound expertise in cutting-edge technological advancements and a comprehensive grasp of the intricacies and possibilities within the field.
Esmaeil earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from University West in Sweden, where his research concentrated on pushing the boundaries of Advanced Materials Manufacturing Technologies. A respected Assistant Professor at the University of Waterloo, Canada, Esmaeil remains a driving force in academic and industrial circles, actively engaging with industry associations and standards organizations.
As the CTO, Esmaeil spearheads technological innovations and strategic directions at OptiFab Technologies. He passionately harnesses cutting-edge advancements to empower manufacturers and engineers in achieving superior quality Metal AM products with heightened efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
